What does
Extra virgin olive oil Mean?

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the oil that comes from the very first pressing of an olive harvest. The oil is extracted from the fruit using only mechanical means - no heat or chemicals are ever applied. This is often referred to as ‘cold press’.


How Should I store my Grove 45 Extra virgin olive oil?

The four enemies of extra virgin olive oil are heat, light, oxygen and time. We recommend storing all unopened bottles of Grove 45 Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a cool, dark space, such as a low pantry shelf. Once opened, the bottle can live on the kitchen counter, provided it is kept away from the heat of the stove or oven.

Grove 45 Extra Virgin Olive Oil is at it’s peak within 18 months from the listed harvest date.
Once open, we suggest using your Grove 45 Extra Virgin Olive Oil within 60 to 90 days to ensure peak freshness.

Polyphenols are a natrually occuring micronutrient found in plants, like olives! High quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil will have high levels of polyphenols.
