Our Mission

Grove 45 Extra Virgin Olive Oil focuses on three things; quality, sustainability and philanthropy.

Quality

By working with only the best possible sources, Grove 45 is able to year-in and year-out, produce a consistant, reliable and exemplary product.

Our proprietory groves are made up of Italian varietal, hand-maintained trees, ranging in age from twenty-five years to well over one hundred years. Each year, we hand-harvest all of the olives before delivering them to the mill within 24 hours to ensure they are processed at the peak of freshness.

Our use of a solid American-made, 100% recycled aluminum bottle, it helps preserve the quality of our olive oil, aiding in the fight against light-and-heat caused aging and oxidation, meaning once the oil reaches your kitchen, it stays better for longer.

Sustainability

Our proprietary orchards are farmed using organic farming techniques, focusing on the natrual, symbiotic bond we share with the land. Our goal is to minimize our footprint in every way possible, from pruning by hand instead of by tractor and focusing on local and American vendors to prevent lengthy product journeys. We avoid synthetic herbicides, and mow instead, allowing the native cover crops to grow and then be mowed back into the earth, replacing vital nitrogen and other nutrients without synthetic additives.

We conduct annual studies of water usage to better understand how we can midigate the impact of the current drought and climate change. By working to conserve existing water sources, it ensures that we can continue to farm well into the future.
